Workspace Management
Colo supports multiple workspaces under one account. Each workspace is completely isolated — it has its own customers, projects, team members, and settings.
1. What is a Workspace?
A workspace represents a business or a distinct operational unit. You might use multiple workspaces if you run more than one company, or if you want to separate production from a test environment.
2. Viewing Your Workspaces
- Click your account name or the workspace switcher in the top navigation or sidebar.
- A list of all workspaces you belong to appears.
- Your current active workspace is highlighted.
3. Creating a New Workspace
- In the workspace switcher, click + Create New Workspace.
- Fill in:
- Workspace Name (required)
- Description (optional)
- Click Create.
- You are switched into the new workspace automatically.
- Complete the initial workspace setup (logo, timezone, currency) under Settings.
4. Switching Workspaces
- Click the workspace switcher.
- Click the workspace you want to switch to.
- The page reloads inside the selected workspace.
5. Editing Workspace Information
- Go to Settings → General (while inside the workspace you want to edit).
- Update the workspace name, logo, or other details.
- Click Save.
6. Managing Workspace Members
Each workspace has its own team of members.
- To add members: see Team Members.
- Members invited to Workspace A do not have access to Workspace B unless separately invited.
7. Workspace Verification
Some workspaces may require verification before full functionality is enabled:
- Check your email for a workspace verification message.
- Click the verification link.
- Your workspace is now fully active.
8. Deleting a Workspace
This is irreversible. Deleting a workspace permanently removes all data within it.
- Go to Settings → General inside the workspace.
- Scroll to the Danger Zone section.
- Click Delete Workspace.
- Type the workspace name to confirm.
- Click Delete.
Tips
- Use separate workspaces for separate businesses rather than mixing customers — it keeps reporting clean.
- Each workspace has independent finance settings (currency, tax, payment gateways).
- You can be an admin in one workspace and a regular member in another.
